Self love used to be an elusive phrase to me, I used to feel grossed out by myself and my body and hate myself and feel lots of shame and guilt about the way I acted towards the ones I loved in the past.
I asked spirit to show me what self love was and how it felt. I even asked about it in a Facebook group I was in.
I received many great answers, however none stayed with me as this one: practice saying ‘i love you’ to whatever arises within your awareness.
And so I did. I closed my eyes. “I love you darkness”. All sorts of feelings arose within me “I love you feelings arising within me. I love you skin, I love you touch, I love you body..”.
I continued like this with everything inside and outside of me, until I could feel only love. Forced myself to love everything.
I realized that saying “I love you, Dona” as many times as I could remember to do it throughout the day was more helpful than not saying it at all.
Touching my heart chakra in my chest also helped me connect back to my heart, my center.
The power of self-touch also helped me immensely. Whenever I felt sad, I would caress myself, my skin, my hair, and wherever I didn’t like my body, I would touch and say “I love you” to that part until I could feel it, no matter how shameful or awkward it felt at first.
Taking care of myself and putting myself first, my feel-good, above anyone and anything else, made me know that whenever I am happy, I can also give, but I can’t give from a space of lack. Knowing that helped.
Also learning about non-duality, accepting both the dark and the light within ourselves was important. I realized it’s ok to sit with these darker aspects and feelings and love them, too, as they are a part of me and they won’t go away if I push them away, but they will get alchemized when I accept and embrace them. Just feel it all.
None of us are pure light or pure dark, nothing is just black or white. The Yin and Yang are a perfect example of this. We are not just good or just bad. We must learn to embrace all of our facets, and all the colors between our black and whites.
Self love comes hand in hand with self care. Considering yourself a precious thing that must be given all of the self care possible and taking care that you always feel good might be something you procrastinate on at first, but I promise you, doing something small every day to take care of yourself and your well-being, will, in time, yield beautiful results.
And if no one told you today, you are beautiful!
The way you talk to yourself is also important. Do you call yourself ugly/good for nothing/worthless? That’s not self love. Try changing the way you talk to yourself by picking the highest words possible (that have the highest light in them), even if you don’t necessarily feel they are true. Just pick high vibratory words and keep calling yourself that, even journal them every day and you will see your confidence skyrocket.
Write positive love-letters to yourself, hide them and read them after a month or two, to make a fun game out of it.

Remember, repetition is very important, so repeating newly-forming beliefs every day is also important. For example, Dylan James has affirmations you can listen to overnight for at least 21 night in a row to change your self-concept:
Also, affirming “everybody loves me, everybody thinks I’m cute and amazing” can make you feel more loved, because your teaching your subconscious that you’re also receiving praise, love and appreciation from the exterior.
Even if that hasn’t been the case, you can train your subconscious to think it was, so you never again feel like you lack love from others. Feeling loved can make you feel more self-love, too.
Remember, Divinity always loves you, no matter what you think you did or didn’t do wrong, so just by knowing that, you can feel more self-love, because you are already loved, now, so it’s easier to feel it.
Last but not least, embracing our emotions can help us feel more self-love.
Pushing them away creates pain and suffering, but truly feeling them, no matter how bad they feel, can help you alchemize them. into better feeling emotions.

To explain this topic better, I first have to explain parallel realities.
Think about the word ‘tomorrow’. You read it in the present. And now you read this in the present. You also read “you said it” (past) in the present. You’re thinking about the past or the future, but you’re always doing it in the present now moment.
You see, great meditators who awaken from the illusion of Maia, realize this concept profoundly. Everything happens at once, as well as nothing ever happened, life is a dream/illusion.
Think about a movie. You can stop it at minute 12:15, and then at minute 12:16. You can screenshoot it, and take one image to China and one to the United States.
Although the movie seems to have a logical, linear story, you can mess up all the images in it and spread them all over the world.
That’s sort of how reality is. That means your most wanted desires happen now, and so do your worst nightmares. And everything you can possibly ever imagine exists in the timeless NOW, and you can align with it if you align to its frequency (how would it feel to you NOW to have that reality – think about it often until it gains momentum and it manifests).
So on the subject of changing your past, you can basically decide what your past was, and change it up as you wish.
Even though it might not feel true to your mind, that’s the only place that past exists – your mind. Otherwise you have no concrete proof of it in the present moment.
So change the story – I’ve been traumatized in my life enormosuly (in the linear story I align to now as I say this), however I made a small but important effort to say that I’ve always been happy, I always had everything I needed, I always had amazingly loving parents and every circumstance in my life was always extremely favorable.
That not only makes me feel better, but also helps me manifest better.
The stories we keep telling ourselves are so important. Because if in our minds we keep repeating our traumas, our sad, victimized stories, what we will get in our realities is proof that we are victims of our circumstances, proof that we can never succeed if we were abused and after many, many years from those abuses – you can already call it procrastination from doing what we desire and changing our habits and our circumstances because we were once in pain. And we keep recreating that pain.
Now nobody is saying you shouldn’t love yourself through the pain, love your inner child that got hurt. Nobody says you aren’t entitled to be angry or upset about what happened to you, however as you empower yourself and decide to shift that reality and live a better one, you can change the narative, the story into something that feels good, so that you also shift your vibration and attract better.
You can even change the people in the story and how they treated you, you can say and imagine how they treated you well, and forgive them for any hurt that they’ve caused.
If these people are still in your life, you might actually see a shift in them, too, after you have done this.
Again, no one is saying you are not entitled to your pain (no matter how big or small), however if you are at the point of wanting to shift from it, this is how to do it.
If it’s easier for you to write this new story out, by all means, do it. And if it’s easier to think about it or say it out loud, these are also relevant and ok options.

Many of us have been conditioned from a young age to believe the old saying that “money is the root of all evil”, that millionaires and billionaires are bad people, and so we unconsciously keep money away energetically because we believe it’s bad or that we are bad people if we have it.
However I am a big believer that everything holds the meaning we assign to it, therefore if I want money to be fluffy, loving, full of potential for good, creativity, helping others and doing good in the world, that’s just how I choose to see it.

Money is good. Money amplifies who you are. If you are a good person, money will amplify that and you will do good in the world, for your family, etc.
But it’s also acceptable and normal to spend money on yourself. You are deserving of gifting yourself all the good in the world.
A great book I read on the topic and I would recommend is this one, it teaches you about all the blocks that can keep you from achieving overflowing abundance.
Also, here is a book with more than 400 ideas on how to make money, if that’s something that interests you.
Either way, if money scares you or you reach a certain plateau every month, and then you stop earning, it means that you have money blocks.
These all come from childhood and from the (excuse me but) sick society we live in.
The people with most money in the world, have infiltrated themselves into relligion and they made sure we believe money is sinful and bad so that we stay small, don’t ask for more and listen to God and are humble.
I believe there’s nothing further from the truth, and it gets me angry every time I speak about it, because there is an infinite amount of everything in this world, including money, since the Universe is also infinite and an illusion. We are creators. We create as much money as we believe ourselves to be capable and deserving of having.
We all deserve a great life, where we have everything we desire and are rich and abundant, so the more of us break free from the chains of poverty that stem simply from our minds and our blockages, the more we will make this world a better place, where everybody has more than enough.

Losing weight is an issue that many people on this planet are facing, and part of the reason we are still facing it is because we believe what we ingest makes us gain weight.
You heard me! The food you eat does not make you gain weight, it’s how you see it.
A little more on this later, but let me first tell you the second reason why people gain weight, especially women: to protect themselves from unwanted advances.
Somehow we believe that if we look less atractive, we won’t be victims to possible rape (it’s also a past life issue), advances we don’t know how to turn down, etc.
A third reason is we equate the pleasure we get from eating to the pleasure and excitement we would love to get elsewhere.
A good way to get over this is to journal what trully gives you excitement in life (aside from food) and start implementing those actions in your day to day life.
So whenever you want to eat excessively, you have your list of things that give you MORE pleasure than eating. Once you do those, you will see the hunger disappears.
So, as I promised I’m going to now talk about the first reason people gain weight, and that is believing their food makes them gain.
A guy I know once told his audience that “you can basically ingest a gallon of toxic waste and still be perfectly healthy, if your mind believes it”, reason being everything is devoid of meaning, including a gallon of toxic waste, and it only takes on the meaning that we assign to it.
This quote resonated deeply within me, since it is something I intuitively believed my entire life. Our mind creates the reality we perceive, and we can change that reality by what we believe about it
Therefore at some point in my journey I started repeating to myself “food makes you lose weight” and repeated with every single food that I believed would make me gain like bread, pastry, etc, that it makes me lose weight.
Plus, I repeated to myself inspite even nasty comments from other People that “I am slim” and inspite my own beliefs and thoughts that said otherwise.
Now I must admit, I haven’t spent A LOT of time doing this, so the results are for now me not gaining weight even though I eat a lot, but that’s good enough. From the way I am currently eating, I should be probably around 200 pounds when in reality I weigh much less.
There are also great ways to lose weight like listening to subliminals and affirmations over night repeatedly, for long periods of time (minimum 30 days)
Two of my favorite YouTube subliminal/affirmation creators are Dylan James (affirmations) and Serenity Now Mindful Meditation (subliminals). For subliminals, I also like and use Beauty Krystallized.

This fall I have started reading a few good books and I would love to recommend them to you.
Reading is a way to enhance your inner world, your vocabulary and your way of seeing the world.
Self development books shift not just your inner world, but your outer world, too, because, after all that is their purpose: to shift your life in some way or another.

So, here it goes, my list:
1.Tiny Habits: The small changes that change everything
I’m starting with this book because this book has helped me tremendously change my habits, for example I used to procrastinate on tidying my home and ended up surrounded by a big mess, and I had to clean it all at once (aka call my mom to help me), but now I’m doing a little bit every day and the house is much tidier. And for any habit you would want to implement your life, in order to be more successful, in this book lies the solution. The idea is in seeing where you are already implementing it, and adding to that. It doesn’t require motivation or hard work, the author, Dr. BJ Fogg , makes it easy for you.
2. Good Vibes, Good Life: How Self-Love Is the Key to Unlocking Your Greatness
This is a great book for those that keep spiralling in their minds all day and keep recreating negative thoughts, therefore negative realities.
It provides simple, easy to use solutions to our negative thinking, helping us to think more positively. What we learn is that we trully have a choice, we don’t have to be prisoners to our minds.
This is also a Christ-centered book, for christians or those who have a strong connection to God/relligion. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re an atheist, but I would strongly recommend it if you are not!
4. Holy Hot Mess: Finding God in the Details of this Weird and Wonderful Life
A great book for those of us who are messy, disorganised, and just big klutzes because it helps us come to terms with ourselves as we are, knowing that we are loved by God no matter what. It teaches us the beauty of being exactly who we are, and being loved accepted for exactly that. Full of funny, disarming stories. Once you pick up this book you won’t want to put it down.
5. The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life (Before 8AM)
Although I’m about to write a whole article about this, about the power of starting a routine, and the power of waking up early, this book contains a much more extensive explanation on the subject. When we wake up earlier than the rest of the world, we have an advantage. And waking up early an doing the things the author talks about in the book, can definitely help change your life. So start today, and get the book! It helped me tremendously.
