How to lose weight using the Law of Attraction (part 1)

Losing weight is an issue that many people on this planet are facing, and part of the reason we are still facing it is because we believe what we ingest makes us gain weight.

You heard me! The food you eat does not make you gain weight, it’s how you see it.

A little more on this later, but let me first tell you the second reason why people gain weight, especially women: to protect themselves from unwanted advances.

Somehow we believe that if we look less atractive, we won’t be victims to possible rape (it’s also a past life issue), advances we don’t know how to turn down, etc.

A third reason is we equate the pleasure we get from eating to the pleasure and excitement we would love to get elsewhere.

A good way to get over this is to journal what trully gives you excitement in life (aside from food) and start implementing those actions in your day to day life.

So whenever you want to eat excessively, you have your list of things that give you MORE pleasure than eating. Once you do those, you will see the hunger disappears.

So, as I promised I’m going to now talk about the first reason people gain weight, and that is believing their food makes them gain.

A guy I know once told his audience that “you can basically ingest a gallon of toxic waste and still be perfectly healthy, if your mind believes it”, reason being everything is devoid of meaning, including a gallon of toxic waste, and it only takes on the meaning that we assign to it.

This quote resonated deeply within me, since it is something I intuitively believed my entire life. Our mind creates the reality we perceive, and we can change that reality by what we believe about it

Therefore at some point in my journey I started repeating to myself “food makes you lose weight” and repeated with every single food that I believed would make me gain like bread, pastry, etc, that it makes me lose weight.

Plus, I repeated to myself inspite even nasty comments from other People that “I am slim” and inspite my own beliefs and thoughts that said otherwise.

Now I must admit, I haven’t spent A LOT of time doing this, so the results are for now me not gaining weight even though I eat a lot, but that’s good enough. From the way I am currently eating, I should be probably around 200 pounds when in reality I weigh much less.

There are also great ways to lose weight like listening to subliminals and affirmations over night repeatedly, for long periods of time (minimum 30 days)

Two of my favorite YouTube subliminal/affirmation creators are Dylan James (affirmations) and Serenity Now Mindful Meditation (subliminals). For subliminals, I also like and use Beauty Krystallized.

How to change deeply-rooted beliefs in your subconscious

Subconscious beliefs, along with conscious ones, dictate what happens in our reality.

Say if we believe we are ugly and nobody likes us, naturally people won’t look as much at us when we walk down the street, or even if they do, in our minds we would conclude that they’re definitely not looking at us thinking we are interesting or beautiful/handsome.

It doesn’t even matter how you look, you could be the ugliest person in the room, if your beliefs match the idea that you are handsome/beautiful, than you will shine brightly, people will notice you and you will get many more interactions that confirm your belief that you are handsome/beautiful, like compliments, flirting, etc.

It’s easy to say that ok, I’ll change my belief now that I know this, and say I look great all the time, or that I have a lot of money, or whatever you want to change in your beliefs, but if you don’t BELIEVE it, on a subconscious level, on the level in which you were first impregnated with the idea that you are not beautiful enough, your outer reflections will stay the same.

So here’s my most trusted technique with which I changed many of my subconscious beliefs, and that is a journalling technique.

For example, in the example that I gave, on being beautiful/handsome, I would open up a notebook, and I would write: “What keeps me from being beautiful/handsome”.

Or, as another example: “What keeps me from making 1 million dollars a year”

On both these examples, reality-based, with concrete, evidence-based responses are not what I’m interested in getting as an answer.

More so, I want you to notice where in your body you contract/you have a negative feeling when you imagine having the reality you desire (in this example, being handsome/beautiful or having a lot of money).

I want you to breathe into that resistance, and see the images that come up.

Then you can journal what comes up, and find what, on a subconscious level, is keeping you from that. That can be a memory from your childhood (many times that’s where these beliefs stem from), or it could be an irrational fear, a shame, or a feeling of guilt.

As I always say, what doesn’t feel good in your body is not true, and what feels amazing is always true.

Which means what is true for us as beings is that we are loved, we are amazing, creative, courageous, beautiful/handsome, desirable, loveable, and all the things that feel amazing.

And the fact that we are not all those things, is not true, we believe in the opposite because that’s what our society has raised us to believe, to sell us more of their products and keep us believing we are small, unattractive, unimportant and not able to create our own realities.

That’s why I always say: we must call ourselves the most amazing beings in the Universe, and praise ourselves in all the ways, and call ourselves beautiful, loving names, and always love ourselves, because that creates a good vibration within our bodies, and so we naturally attract better things.

Staying in a victim mentality, where we are never good enough, we believe negative things about ourselves, creates realities in which these believes are reinforced: we have emotionally draining and toxic relationships that keep showing us our negative beliefs, and we never get exactly where we would want to be in life.

So the secret to uncovering subconscious, negative beliefs, is actually FEELING. Feeling where you don’t believe yourself to be enough. Feeling where you don’t already feel rich. Feeling where you are not the best person in your life.

And then putting it into words, as well as you can.

After that, what I’ve learned is it is very important to create new, positive beliefs, and repeat them daily.

So for example: “I am handsome/beautiful” or “I make a million dollars a year”.

The more you repeat, the more you will feel like that’s what is true. Plus, the more you repeat, the more the opposite that you already believe will show up, and it will be easier for you to see it if you just feel into it, and make sense of the belief you are holding. Then, keep believing and repeating the positive affirmation some more, until it feel like the easiest, most natural thing to you.

Of course the million dollars won’t come to you in a second (most likely), but the Universe always responds with creative ideas, opportunities, and things to do to take aligned action and create that million in your life. So it’s dependent upon you to create that, but if you already feel like a millionaire, all the time, even when you do the dishes or swipe your living room, even when you don’t have anything in your bank account, you will receive more than enough to be able to create and learn (to sell, to be a business person, to create better, etc ) through this journey we call Life.

How to always know the TRUTH with YES/NO questions

On the basis on which I make my life decisions, and always know what is true for me and what is not, I always respect this simple, yet powerful principle: what feels good is true, and what doesn’t- isn’t.

It’s simple, we all have a Higher Self, and this Higher Self shows us what is true for us and what isn’t by making us feel bad when we believe something that is out of alignment, and good when we believe (even subconsciously) something that is true for us.

On this principle, I always ask my spirit guides yes/no questions, and if the YES feels good, than that is what is true for me, and if it doesn’t, I try the NO, and if that feels good, then that is my answer.

Of course, there is a tricky part to it. The tricky part is that sometimes our spirit guides answer our questions based on our core beliefs. So say for example my dog is sick. I’m gonna ask my spirit guides if he’ll get well. If my core belief says it’s not gonna happen, then the NO is what is gonna resonate with me.

And here comes the creative part: we always create our realities, on a moment to moment basis, contingent upon what we believe on a core subconscious level about our reality. Therefore to change an end result, we must change our core beliefs about it.

Yes, we can find answers to our questions, and they might be true in the moment we ask them, however we still get to decide and create on top of that.

And here comes the part where to change our views and our realities regarding a certain topic, we must first dig deep into our subconscious, and change our core beliefs. Listening to our bodies hasn’t been taught to us as it should have, however, they know, even regarding our future, or any other topic we might want to ask about, what the truth is.

How does it make you feel? Good or bad? It’s as simple as that. Your body knows. Listen to it.

And for any habit you would want to implement your life, in order to be more successful, in this book lies the solution. The idea is in seeing where you are already implementing it, and adding to that. It doesn’t require motivation or hard work, the author, Dr. BJ Fogg , makes it easy for you.

2. Good Vibes, Good Life: How Self-Love Is the Key to Unlocking Your Greatness

Vex King, the Instagram-famous author, teaches the art of self love in this book, for anyone who doesn’t know how to love themseles and remove fear from their life.

The biggest thing I took from this book was that I am loved and loveable even if I don’t do anything at all, that doing does not equate love, you can just be and be loved.

Another important aspect of this book is that it teaches you that you are important, and how to speak up for yourself.

All in all, it’s a great book for young people or those who haven’t read that much on self-development, so it’s a great starting book.

3. Get Out of Your Head: Stopping the Spiral of Toxic Thoughts

This is a great book for those that keep spiralling in their minds all day and keep recreating negative thoughts, therefore negative realities.

It provides simple, easy to use solutions to our negative thinking, helping us to think more positively. What we learn is that we trully have a choice, we don’t have to be prisoners to our minds.

This is also a Christ-centered book, for christians or those who have a strong connection to God/relligion. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re an atheist, but I would strongly recommend it if you are not!

4. Holy Hot Mess: Finding God in the Details of this Weird and Wonderful Life

A great book for those of us who are messy, disorganised, and just big klutzes because it helps us come to terms with ourselves as we are, knowing that we are loved by God no matter what. It teaches us the beauty of being exactly who we are, and being loved accepted for exactly that. Full of funny, disarming stories. Once you pick up this book you won’t want to put it down.

5. The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life (Before 8AM)

Although I’m about to write a whole article about this, about the power of starting a routine, and the power of waking up early, this book contains a much more extensive explanation on the subject. When we wake up earlier than the rest of the world, we have an advantage. And waking up early an doing the things the author talks about in the book, can definitely help change your life. So start today, and get the book! It helped me tremendously.

How to manifest using Pinterest and scripting

Hi dear reader,

I want to show you a method that has worked wonders for me, and it is a combination of two or three different techniques.

First of all let me say that I have manifested more than half of what I wrote in those scripts, like new nails, perfumes, clothes, beautiful days together with friends, money, an many other things just by doing what I’m about to show you.

This technique is quite simple: collect your favorite Pinterest photos, open up a PDF or Word document, add the images to the page and in the remaining spaces, script taking inspiration from the images.

If you don’t know what scripting is, scripting is a technique in which you write as if you were writing in your diary, as if the things you desire the most have already happened or are happening now.

Here is an example of how I would script, taking into consideration the photo you see below:

‘Dear God/Universe, I am so happy! I’m finally in my favorite city in the world: NYC. This morning I walked my dog along the Upper East Side, through Central Park, and then I left him at the appartment and I went to buy some perfumes, a few good books and some ground coffee. After that my brother came to my place and we went out for drinks with a few new friends we met in the city. I am so happy!’

Now after you’ve done this project of choosing the photos, adding them to the Word document, and writing the script for everything you desire, here’s the part most people don’t do or don’t talk about, and it’s also the part that helps guarantee you get your desires (don’t worry about the how and the when!), and that is: READ IT every day!!! Especially right after you wake up or before you go to sleep. These are the times when you’re brain is in the perfect state to rewire its subconscious mind, because you are half-asleep.

I did this for 30 days in a row, and I manifested crazy stuff! Maybe not exactly how it was written there, but definitely things I couldn’t conjure up myself. Things that made me really, really happy!

This is my most precious technique and I’m sharing it here to you for free, because I want you to have your desires as fast as possible, and it’s definitely possible for you, too!

The benefits of living a life of ease and how to do it!

A few years ago I was a stressed out mess, I worked a 9-5 job that took all my power away and I was constantly worrying : when will I succeed? When will I have enough money?

I stumbled upon a few articles like this one that talked about living in ease. The thought of trying the easy way sounded good at a time when all I did was hard, however I was skeptical. How could not doing anything all day bring me all that I wanted and needed?

However I decided to give it a try.

I repeated the words “easy, Dona, easy” in my mind every half a minute or so to see what decision I could take next that would help me live more easefully.

I relaxed as much as I could, even while doing harder tasks, like at my then-job as a cashier.

When I was in conflict with someone, I repeated the same words and the conflict would find resolution. Why? Because instead of contracting and stressing out, I would find the more peaceful way out of it.

The more I did this , the more it became a way of living. The more I made decisions that were in line with this.

And the more even harder tasks became easier because I was rested.

We know that stress causes most illnesses, so why is it that our masculine, action – driven society keeps telling us to use force when taking action? Instead the feminine ease and flow.

Why are we not taught this in schools? Ease does not make you lazy, it makes you more relaxed in all that you do.

It also gives great results abundance-wise. Since I’ve been living a life of ease, I’ve had more money and gifts coming to me out of nowhere than ever before.

Somehow, the more I stressed, the less money I made.

The more I relaxed, the easier life has become.

What you are, you attract. So you can attract a life that is easy, where everything comes to you easilly, if that’s what you show the Universe you are/you believe yourself to be.

It’s as simple as always choosing the easy path. And it has real benefits! I can attest to those, so can a couple of my friends who have tried it.

Now go on, live a life of ease. You are worthy of destressing and putting the hardships down! You are worthy of relaxing. You are allowed to do so!

One easy technique that will help you be more present.

Eckhart Tolle’s book “The Power of Now” sold millions of copies, however we still spend 90% of our days in our heads, thinking and thinking in loops, not recognizing something so beautiful and so immediate: the present moment.

A few good reasons to be more present would be to 1. Be more grateful for what we have now, instead of constantly chasing for more in the future and 2. To not live in the past either, where we constantly replay negative experiences and trauma.

If you want to be more present, here is a wonderful technique that can help you achieve just that: “the 2-5 second technique”.

This form of meditation is perfect for the busy mom/entrepreneur or to be honest, for anyone who decides to make the smallest but most effective commitment to be more present. It is easy and can be done at any moment throughout the day, wherever you are.

This technique can be explained this way: Stop your mind altogether for 2-5 seconds, 12 to 24 times a day, or whenever you remember.

You can also set a timer to do it using a reminder app.

When you stop your mind for even 2 seconds, you make space in your brain to do other tasks, reorganize, and clear negativity.

Simply put, meditation, even as small as for 2-5 seconds, acts as a “cooler” acts for a computer, except you do it to the brain.

The result is a more spacious, free, and also creative view of reality. Because when you have space in your brain, your Higher Self can also download new creative solutions to your mind, that were kept off from your consciousness before because you were too interested by “did I do that correctly?” “have I said something wrong to Tim?” etc.

When you relax, destress, and stop worrying, you get into a state of mind where you now have space for other things, too, and you can also work better and be a better person/parent/teacher/friend.

I recommend this short but useful type of meditation to anyone, anywhere. You can do it in the bus, at work, while you get dressed, while you sip your morning coffee, or any other time! Keep doing it for a month and see incredible results!
